Chapter 5: Calling Sonic

The next day, Shadow woke up and remembered something…Sonic! He then walked to the living room and sat on the couch thinking how was he going to tell Sonic about his survival. Then he heard steps coming down the stairs; it was Amy. "Amy, I've been thinking about Sonic and I think I should tell him that I'm still alive, shouldn't I?" said Shadow "Well, I guess so" said Amy "But, how do I tell him?" said Shadow "Well just tell him" said Amy. "NO! I mean where does he live or how can I contact him?", said Shadow "Well, using the telephone duh!", said Amy. "But how do I use the darn telephone!", said Shadow "Ok, ok just grab the phone, and press 'talk'" said Amy "The pink button?" said Shadow "Yes, now press these numbers…"said Amy. He then looked at the phone book where it said "Sonic: 1(555) 889-6954" He looked up at Amy with a jealous look since there were little hearts around the name 'Sonic'. "Ok, now press these numbers and wait until Sonic answers got it?" said Amy leaving Shadow alone. "Hello?" Tails answered, "Hello, um, may I speak to Sonic?" said Shadow, feeling strange "Yeah, sure who is this?" said Tails in a cheerful voice. "Shadow, Shadow the hedgehog", he said "No, no you've got to be kidding, I mean Shadow the hedgehog is dead!" said Tails, frightened "No, Tails, its me Shadow! Don't you recognize my voice?" said Shadow "Oh my God! Of course I know this voice you're Shadow but…?" said Tails. Then Sonic entered the room where Tails was talking to Shadow. "Hey Tails, who are you talking to?" said Sonic, "Its Shadow!!" Tails whispered to Sonic. "Well Tails you know what just tell Sonic to come right away to Amy's house ok? Bye" said Shadow before pressing the 'talk' button again. There stood Tails petrified when Sonic said, "Hello? Tails? What's up what are you white? (I mean whiter as usual) Tails? TAILS!!" he shouted and slapped Tails in the face. "What the…? Hey!" said Tails "Hello why are you acting like that?" said Sonic "Shut up, and let's go to Amy's house!" said Tails.

"Hey Tails why are you such in a hurry?" said Sonic "I mean is just not the big deal you know!" "Shut up and get on the car!" said Tails while they were getting on Sonic's Mercedes Benz c500. "Ok, ok calm down and where are we going anyway?" said Sonic "To Amy's house c'mon! Hurry up!" Tails said quickly "Ok let's go!" Then, Sonic turned on the car and started driving.
