Prologue By Krystal

A shooting star streaked through the sky. Sonic, Tails, Amy Rose, Rouge, and Knuckles were sitting on a hill stargazing. Tails spotted the star first.

"Look Sonic! A shooting star! Weren't they supposed to come next week?" he asked.

"You're right, little bro," Sonic answered, "They are supposed to come next week. But since this one came early it must be a wishing star that's falling. Make a wish and maybe it'll come true."

Tails thought really hard about his wish. What did he want really badly? Then he remembered yesterday. Everything that happened with ARK and the BioLizard came flooding back to him. Then he remembered the FinalHazard and Shadow, and started crying softly.

"Thought of a wish yet little bro?" Sonic asked. Tails wiped away his tears.

"Not yet Sonic." He replied, "I was just thinking back to yesterday. Everything that happened. And Shadow. Wait!" Suddenly, Tails got up and said squarely to the wishing star, "I wish Shadow was back!" Sonic looked surprised and thenreally sad and tired.

"Tails," Sonic whispered, "Some wishes are going to be a lot harder for the star to grant. It may not come true for months or years. Or ever." Sonic added softly. Tails looked defiantly at Sonic.

"It'll come true Sonic." He said, "I've got this weird feeling hat it will."

Tails didn't know how right he was. That falling star was actually Shadow, falling to Earth. He was unconscious, and unaware of all of the weird things that were about to happen to him. This is a story about his journey to find Sonic and his friends again.
