Chapter Three: We Meet Again By: Krystal

The next day, Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and Rouge were all ready to go and rescue Shadow from whatever Dr. Eggman was doing to him. They all had all of the items they had found during their last adventure (commonly called Sonic Adventure 2). Little did they know what really happened.

Shadow lay on the floor, red glowing eyes now only a dim maroon. He had been electrocuted over and over again by Eggman. Maybe I should listen to him, he thought, He's obviously thought this over………And it is getting hard to think straight………I will help him………He is my Master! Then Shadow lost all control of himself. His will was overcome by the program that all roboticized creatures had in them. The program that ordered them to serve Eggman.

{Eggman's POV}

I called Shadow upstairs from where he had collapsed. He should've been taken over by the program by now. As he came down the stairs he bowed deeply.

"My master………" he muttered. I drummed my fingers on my desk.

"Your new designation, robot," I said, "Is Robot 703407, or as I will call you, ShadowBot 07!" He looked up.

"What do you wish me to do?" he inquired. I thought, but not too hard.

"Go to Sonic's house. Destroy it." I paused for dramatic effect, "And eliminate him and his friends!" He fired his rocket boosters, and flew out the hole in the ceiling. I smiled wickedly to myself. This would work out just fine………

"Look!" Sonic exclaimed, "There's Eggman's base!" He pointed at the giant egg-shaped building. Tails jumped into the air and started hovering. He pointed at the fortress.

"Let's go!" he cried. Sonic looked shocked.

"Tails………" he said, slowly, "You're starting to sound like me………"

"That's a scary thought………" Knuckles mumbled. Sonic pushed Knuckles off of the cliff they were on, "Hey!" Knuckles cried, "What was that for?" Everyone burst out laughing. Finally they dashed off to the large building in the distance.
