"Shadow....Shadow....SHADOW!!!!!" yelled Rouge shaking me, trying to wake me up. I opened one eye.

"What do you want?"

"Its Shad.....and. Amy"

"What? What happened to them?"

"We don't know where they are. Shad and Amy have disappeared. Sonic and Knuckles are trying to find them right now.

"What?!?!? Who would do this?!?" I was in total shock. Then Tails walked in the room.

"Someone took them." said Tails.

"How do you know?" I asked.

"I know because, this guy just sent me a message on my computer, saying that his name is....Virus. He is at Eggmans old hidden base. He wants you to come and get Shad and Amy. He wants you to come alone." Rouge some how knew it was time to leave.

'I'll go get Sonic and Knuckles, and tell 'em." Rouge left.

"I am sorry." said Tails.

"Yeah, me too. But we can't just sit here and do nothing!!" I got up and headed for the door, and then Tails grabbed my arm.

"No, wait. I need to tell you something."

"I can't wait Tails; I have to get Shad and Amy." I jerked away from the fox's grip. And went on to the Hidden Base. As I was running towards the base, I was thinking. Who is this Virus? Why did he kidnap Shad? Does he even know her? Why would he take Amy? I was so confused. When I got to the base, I looked around, then. All of the sudden someone wacked me in the head, I was out. I awoke in a dark room. I could not see my surroundings. Then, I heard a voice. It must've been Virus.

"Hello Shadow. Did you have a nice sleep? My name is Virus. You must be confused, with Shad and all. Where she came from? Who and where are her parents? I can answer all these questions" said Virus

"Ok, I am listening." I knew I had to get Shad and Amy, but I just had to see what this Virus guy had to say. I would've listened to anyone to get my questions answered. Virus was a hedgehog too. The thing is he was all white. He had a black patch of fur on his chest. He also had black shoes.

"Well first off, Shad really is your daughter. She came from the future, I sent for her. While in the future, when you had Shad, I just snatched her and put her in the past. Deleting all memory of her mother, and what happened, so she won't explain anything to you. Now, you must be wondering who is the girl's mother? Well, I must say I had nothing to do with this; in the future you married Amy Rose. Which is why I kidnapped her. Shad was only here to lure you into my trap, Amy is just an extra. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!!" Virus disappeared into the darkness. A light lit, I saw Shad and Amy. They were standing in glass tubes with their arms tied behind there backs.

"Shadow, I am giving you a choice...you are going to choose Amy or Shad. Who will you pick? The one that is not picked will, DIE!! Pick Amy, she is your future wife, oh, but wait! We can't forget the baby, now, Shad, pick her! It is such a hard decision. Pick now, or they will both DIE!!"

"Why are you doing this?"

"Because, you are a threat to me in the future, my time. I want to make your life a living hell!! Just like you did to me!! Choose now Shadow!!"

"Fine, I choose....Amy...AMY!!!"

"Very well." Amy's tube opened. I put her in my arms, she was still asleep. Shad's tube opened too, but Virus grabbed her, and ran off. He ran to the old space transporter. Shad was asleep as well. "I am giving you another chance Shadow. See you at the ARK, if you really love your daughter of course." I had to go in the space transporter, but Amy was with me, dead asleep. Then, I saw Rouge out of no where.

"Rouge what are you doing here? It's dangerous!!!"

"I just came here to check things out, that's all. What's going on?"

"I'll tell you later. Right now I need you to take Amy home" I carefully handed Rouge Amy.

"OH, ok." As I walked away to the space transporter, I yelled back "Thanks Rouge. Take care of her, please." Rouge whispered, "Good luck, Shadow."
