Seaside Hill

- This level is very easy since it's basic training.
- This level introduces gates. Run through a gate to instantly switch to whichever formation the gate shows. (Red = Power, Blue = Speed, Yellow = Fly) This usually sets up whichever character will work best at that area.
- Cannons are also introduced. When Speed is in the lead, the cannon shoots you to your destination. As flying, it shoots you to the destination via a different path (may be longer or shorter). As power, you can control the cannon, but be careful where you shoot yourself (third cannonball). Press B to get out of the cannon without launching.
- Learn to use Stunt Rings here. Going through these rainbow colored rings gives you 1000 points (plus 800 for each other character who goes through them) and propels you forward.

Ocean Palace

- This level is full of stone doors and crumbling ruins. Use Power to break them, but mind they don't fall on you when you're moving fast.
- Fans are in this level. Use Power characters to utilize these by using Triangle Dive.
- The end of this level involves being chased by 3 giant stone wheels. As long as you keep moving there should be no problem.

Grand Metropolis

- This level has paths of energy that keep you constantly moving and propel you forward. They're handy but be careful.
- This level introduces switches. Push or pull them by standing next to them and pressing action to grab, then direction to push or pull. These will open up new doors and paths.
- Enemies can also guard paths. Be sure to destroy all of them if you can't find an exit.
Team Dark Normal Mode A Rank: 65,000
Team Dark Extra Mode A Rank: 8:00

Power Plant

- Level up your Flying character first, as that character will have the most use. Tons of tall pillars and flying enemies are abound.
- The end of this level is inside a chamber of pure liquid energy that is rising rapidly. Use whichever character is designated by the signs (Mainly Speed and Flying). If you fall in, you will be shot back up once. Try to land on a platform instead of falling down again and dying.

Team Dark Extra Mode A Rank: 7:00

Boss: Team Battle (See Bosses Guide)

Casino Park

- This level is a cross between Sonic 2's Casino Night, Sonic Adventure's Casinopolis, and some new things. Big nostalgia!
- You can use Jump to control the flippers in the pinball machines and the direction to semi-control the characters.
- Beware the gray Searchlight robots. If they spot you in their searchlight, they will make enemies appear.
- Also beware the purple or gold 'Klagen' robots. The purple ones trap characters and the gold ones capture them and take them away permanently. If you lose a character to the gold Klagen, and can't continue on without them, use a Team Blast to bring them back.
Team Dark Normal Mode A Rank: 50,000
Team Dark Extra Mode A Rank: 10:00

Bingo Highway

- Bingo is played by collecting the number tokens on the "pinball highway" of sorts. Maneuver around to collect them and get rings. Switch characters (if they are still around ;P) to try collecting the ones you missed.
- Be careful; the pinball tables have many holes that you can fall through. There may also be enemies on the tables.
- The last Bingo round is at the end of the level. You will fall through the air and you must steer yourself into the tokens.

Boss: Robot Carnival (See Bosses Guide)

Rail Canyon

- Grinding! To accelerate, press and hold Action. To move to different rails, tap left of right and then press jump. To move faster, steer in the direction the rail curve is going.
- You will have to hit round switches to change the direction of the rail. Some switches you hit automatically and some you will have to make your way to. Pink/blue rails are the ones that can change course.
- Be careful not to accelerate in the area with the trains, you CAN crash into them.
Team Dark Normal Mode A Rank: 45,000
Team Dark Extra Mode A Rank: 10:30

Bullet Station

- You will get to be shot like a bullet out of Eggman's cannon, yay! Move left and right while shooting to collect items from Balloons and dodge spike-covered balls.
- You will also enter the rapid transit tunnel. Move from train to train and use Omega to take out enemies and destroy the power core.
- There is a cart in this level. You will have to jump over lasers and dodge trains as you ride around.

Boss: Egg Albatross (See Bosses Guide)

Frog Forest

- This level is filled with giant frogs that summon rain. The rain causes plants to grow, which opens up new paths. Make sure to alert all the frogs.
- Grind on vines and use Tornado Spin to turn giant flowers into air-carriers.
Team Dark Normal Mode A Rank: 45,000
Team Dark Extra Mode A Rank: 14:00

Lost Jungle

- This level has black frogs that kill plants. This works to an advantage in some places - the dead fruit will crush enemies for you.
- This is your first encounter with the giant hammer-wielding robot. Use Power to knock him out.
- This is also your first encounter with spiky flying enemies. Thunder shoot 'em.
- The end of this level involves being chased by a very large crocodile while swinging on vines. Work up a jumping rhythm and it's nothing to worry about.
Team Dark Normal Mode A Rank: 40,000
Team Dark Extra Mode A Rank: 14:00

Boss: Team Battle (See Bosses Guide)

Hang Castle

- This weird castle flips upside down when you hit the large round switches.
- You will come across invisible paths lit by torches. The first one is straight while the second isn't. Walk slowly.
- There are pumpkin-headed ghosts here. You can hit them to make them disappear, or they can hit you.
- Switches and such are hidden in walls. Use power to break walls with cracks in them.
- When you reach the area with the Eggman statue in the distance, notice who is in his place when you flip the castle over. :)
Team Dark Normal Mode A Rank: 65,000
Team Dark Extra Mode A Rank: 11:00

Mystic Mansion

- Switches in this level do not flip the place over, but may open paths/doors, change surroundings, or make enemy statues come to life. Use Power to hit the switches to be on the safe side.
- There is another set of cart rides here. There are lasers and ghosts to dodge, so stay alert.
- In the final part of the level, you will reach a room with 3 'pillars'. Each one has 2 switches, one that breaks the path and makes enemies appear, and one that restores it. You have to take out the enemies on each set of paths. Beware of Rouge's part; one of her enemies is a spell-casting robot that hovers above where you can't see and steals your rings from there.

Boss: Robot Carnival (See Bosses Guide)

Egg Fleet

- Don't fall. :) - Attack cannons to avoid being shot at and to find things hidden beneath them.
- Be careful at the airborne areas; the characters will tell you to move up or down about a 1/2 second too late.
- E-2000 robots will appear and they're annoying as sin, solely because you can't hit them when they hold up their shield. They can make a big blast though, but it takes time to charge and you have time to attack and dodge.
Team Dark Normal Mode A Rank: 33,000
Team Dark Extra Mode A Rank: 13:30

Final Fortress

- The most difficult part of this level is the switch puzzle toward the end of the level. You need to hit 3 switches to activate the fan to the next path, but each switch is spread out. Use Omega as lead, hit the first one after taking out the enemies, and then go up to the left platform. Take out the enemies, hit the switch, and go over to the right - you can either jump down and use the flip-bumper or grind. Hit the switch on that side, go back (Omega should be alone by now) and hit the third switch in front of the fan. Try not to fall!
- The last part of the level involves grinding on rails as lasers fire. Keep moving LEFT. If you keep falling off, remember to tap left, then press Jump. Rushing it just leads to icky deaths.
