Why do updates take so damn long?
I'm a busy/lazy college student, so I try to update as often as possible to keep from falling behind.
How do you choose fanfics?
Anything that is written with proper grammar and punctuation is bound to get an OK.
How do you choose fanart?
Anything that looks like time and effort was put into it is bound to get an OK. Any MSPaint pictures/giant bitmaps will not be accepted... it's a very simple setup.
What in blazes is a Shocky Shipper?
Haha... Shipping means to support a coupling, such as SonAmy (Sonic and Amy). "Shocky" is Shadow and Pocky, and while I'm not big on "shocky shipping" anymore, the comments in the "Shocky Shipper" field of the guestbook amuse me, so I never took it out. :)
What's with that bacon question in the guestbook?
I borrowed a question from my pockyland guestbook. It's somewhat of a really old in-joke... but you can read up on the "Bacon" fics on that site to see what it really was.
I sent you stuff, where is it?
Depends:
If you sent it recently, it's in my inbox waiting to be uploaded.
If you sent it to me long, long time ago, one of two things happened:
- I tossed it out because it didn't fit fanart/fanfic standards (see above).
- It got lost in the great email disaster (losing 3 different email accounts and the submissions in them).
Can you help me make a site?
I can't teach you how to make a site, but a great resource is lissaexplains.com - it's where I started learning HTML. As for hosts, I used to use FateBack before purchasing a domain and hosting at e-starr.
What font is that on the main page/banners?
I honestly don't know, since the site graphics were made by RoseIce. If anyone can figure out what font it is and/or a place I can get it, I'd be VERY grateful. The only clue I have is that it's a gothic font.
How come your site layout has so few pictures?
I use as little graphics as possible because I hate slow-loading sites. Now that I'm on a host I pay for, this is even more important because I have to monitor how much bandwidth the site uses - I don't want all my sites to go down at once if I run out of bandwidth. I think, on a good month, the site would use about a gig of bandwidth on its own.
